A Tradition of Excellence
Capistrano Valley High School participates in the South Coast League, one of the toughest leagues in California. Other members of the South Coast League are Aliso Niguel High School, Dana Hills High School, Mission Viejo High School, San Clemente High School, and Tesoro High School. In 2006 the Cougar Athletic Program was honored by CIF as the Orange County Champion for Character school. In the past thirty years of its existence, our wrestling program has distinguished itself as an outstanding competitor, with frequent entries into CIF finals.
This year the Cougars welcome the start of a new tradition, led by our new coach, Florencio Gonzales. We look forward to seeing where his leadership brings us!
